Mary Beth understands that every child and every school situation is unique. She will work in partnership with your family to develop an individualized and practical strategy based on your child’s specific needs, your goals for your child’s education, and the current situation at your child’s school.

Mary Beth is committed to working collaboratively with the school team whenever possible, with the goal of building positive and professional relationships focused on the child’s needs.

Services Include:

• Support and advocacy for families through every step of the special education process
• Review of educational records and interpretation of evaluations
• Participation in team meetings & mediations
• Assistance with written communications to the school, supported by educational law
• Referrals to experts who can help families and the school team understand a child’s unique needs
• Identification of appropriate educational services
• Observation and assessment of in-district and out-of-district programs
• Assistance with selecting legal counsel when necessary to ensure an appropriate education
